Bennett Place Civil War Museum
The Bennett House is the location where the civil war ended in 1865 and the remaining troops were surrendered to General T. Sherman. A surrender re-enactment is held every April. Duke Homestead and Tobacco Museum

Eno River Park
Eno River begins in northwest Orange County, flowing eastward approximately 33 miles until, along with the Little and Flat rivers, it forms the Neuse and flows into Falls Lake.
